We always use our muscles. Even when we are not doing physical work, muscles can become overactive and therefore "tight" when a posture is maintained for long periods of time (think of sitting at a desk and having rounded shoulders). Postural changes can lead to: (i) improper movement; (ii) muscle imbalances; and (iii) sub-optimal muscle recruitment when doing physical work. All of these physical changes can lead to injury.

Sports massage therapy is a branch of healthcare that relates to restoring proper body movement, function, and pain-management. Careful application of external pressure on overworked muscles allows them to relax and realign their fibres in their intended directions, which in turn allows the muscles to work optimally on an individual and collective basis, and markedly reduces pain when performing physical work.
By applying a wide range of advanced deep-tissue massage techniques, combined with a rigorous postural analysis, industry-standard functional and special tests to determine hypothetical injuries, and thorough aftercare, I can help you regain proper pain-free movement.
So, if you are currently in physical pain and need some relief, DM me and we can arrange a massage appointment.
